The Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum has launched a call for participants for the online Eastern Partnership Youth Conference “Youth for Environment”, which is taking place between 24-26 September 2020. The conference is organised by the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum under the auspices of the German presidency of the Council of the European Union, with the support of the European Union and the Friedrich-Ebert Foundation.
In the context of the Eastern Partnership Youth Conference “Youth for Environment”, participants will discover methods, strategies and tools to cultivate environmental behavior and knowledge, and advance environmental education and activism among peers in the Eastern Partnership countries, the EU and Russia. In various formats and sessions, participants will also tackle the issues of eliminating (plastic) pollution and boosting clean energy, and contribute to discussions on alternative modes of transport.
Eligibility: 18 – 35 year olds coming from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, the EU member states (inkl. UK) or Russia, who have who have working knowledge of English, and who are actively involved in local, national, or international environmental work.
The deadline for application is the 23rd of August 2020, 23:59 CET.
