CSO Partnership for Development Effectiveness – CPDE will be once again joining the European Development Days (EDD), which will be held between the 18th and 19th of June, in Brussels, Belgium.
In the framework of the event, CPDE representatives will set up a stand titled “Towards Effective People-Centered Development: Upholding Accountability and Bringing People’s Realities in Development Cooperation and Partnerships“.
Launched with the theme “Addressing inequalities: Building a world which leaves no one behind“, the EDD is an opportunity to promote CPDE’s effective development cooperation (EDC) advocacy and important accomplishments as a platform, especially as a build-up to its engagements in the Global Partnership for Effective Development Co-operation (GPEDC) Senior Level Meeting (SLM) and the UN High Level Political Forum (UN HLPF) this July.
At the stand, it will be presented how CPDE has successfully influenced the policy discussions on development cooperation at the global level, and advanced the EDC discourse in the GPEDC, 2030 Agenda processes, the EU, and the OECD-DAC.
Visitors will be able to sign their names to our calls, and express their solidarity with CPDE advocacies, and also bring home digital copies of some of the publications on EDC.
