EU-Ukraine Civil Society Platform launched in Kyiv

The EU-Ukraine Civil Society Platform was officially launched at a meeting in Kyiv on 16-17 April, aiming to discuss important topics and prepare reports for the implementation process of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement (AA). The Platform will meet twice a year, alternating between Brussels and Ukraine.


Together with the Association Council, the Association Committee and the Parliamentary Association Committee, the Civil Society Platform is a joint body provided for in the EU-Ukraine AA. It will offer a forum for civil society representatives of both sides to meet and monitor implementation of the AA.
