Within the “Local Democracy Network Development” project, NGO Local Democracy Agency of Moldova organized with the participation of the representatives from LDA Dnipropetrovsk, LDA Mariupol, LDA Georgia and LDA Moldova in Chisinau a regional workshop from 8th to 10th of June 2021.
The event was organized within the project “Building CSO Capacity for Regional Cooperation within the Black Sea Region”, implemented by the Romanian NGDO Platform – FOND, as the Black Sea NGO forum’s main coordinator, with the financial support of the European Union.
Focusing on the particularities of each LDA’s work, the main priority of the workshop was to discuss and finalize the Strategy for the network following the Black Sea (BS) NGO Forum’s revised Strategic Framework for CSO Cooperation. From a general perspective, aiming to establish a network of LDAs from Eastern Partnership countries working in the Black Sea region, this project seeks to turn LDAs into “bridges” between citizens and local governments, thus improving the citizen’s participation in their communities.
