The Romanian NGDO Platform – FOND Romania, as the coordinator of the Black Sea NGO Forum project (“us“, “we“, or “our“) operates the current website – https://blackseango.org (hereinafter referred to as the “Service“).

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Definitions:

  • Service

Service is the https://blackseango.org website operated by the Romanian NGDO Platform – FOND, in its quality of Black Sea NGO Forum project coordinator.

  • Personal Data – While using our Service, at the moment of registration as user of our Service, we ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Data”). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to: first name and last name, e-mail address, country, organisation.
  • Tracking & Cookies Data – We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and we hold certain information. Use of Data

For the Black Sea NGO Forum website, FOND stores and processes personal data with the purpose of well-functioning of the website and, in particular, the interactive Members Area.

The Members Area contains online sections that store and process personal data provided registration (first name and last name, e-mail address, country, organisation, IP address).

These online sections are: My Profile, Forum (online platform), Add News, Add Event, Forum Users (database), Trainers (database), Ask for a Webinar, Disseminate a Petition.

Each of these sections stores and processes personal data in the following way:

My Profile – Information regarding your username, first and last name, country, organisation and e-mail address is stored automatically by FOND. This personal data is not made public to third parties.

Forum (online platform) – Information regarding your first and last name is stored and made public automatically to all other third parties (Black Sea NGO Forum registered users), at the moment of posting.

Add News – Information regarding your first and last name is stored and made public automatically to other third parties (Black Sea NGO Forum registered users and other visitors of the Black Sea NGO Forum website), at the moment of posting.

Add Event – Information regarding your first and last name is stored and made public automatically to other third parties (Black Sea NGO Forum registered users and other visitors of the Black Sea NGO Forum website), at the moment of posting.

Forum Users (database) –  Information regarding your first and last name, country and organisation is stored and made public automatically to other third parties (Black Sea NGO Forum registered users), at the moment of registration.

Trainers (database) – With your given consent*, information regarding your first and last name, organisation and contact details is stored and made public to other third parties (Black Sea NGO Forum registered users).

Ask for a Webinar – Information regarding your first and last name and e-mail address is stored and processed by FOND, with the purpose of organizing online webinars at which other third parties participate as well (Black Sea NGO Forum registered users/ Working Group members).

Disseminate a Petition – Information regarding your e-mail address is stored and processed by FOND, with the purpose of collecting and disseminating online petitions via FOND internal and external databases.

By providing and submitting personal data (first name and last name, e-mail address, country, organisation) at the moment of your registration as an user on the Black Sea NGO Forum website, you are giving your consent for us to store and process this personal data, as described above.

*Our Black Sea NGO Forum Trainers database will be updated periodically based on a voluntary e-mail with personal data information sent by interested individuals via an online form. This personal data will be stored and processed by FOND according to its Internal Procedure only for the purpose of including the interested individual in the Black Sea NGO Forum Trainers database for an indefinite period of time and can be removed only at the written request of the individual in cause, whose personal data has been stored and processed.

Storage period

The personal data can be processed by FOND, in order to achieve the above-mentioned objectives, throughout the whole contractual relationship and after its completion, in order to comply with the legal provisions applicable on this matter.

Security of Data

At the internal level, FOND Romania applies all security policies and standards and takes all technical and organizational measures (computer security procedures), in order to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of personal data and the way it is processed.

The disclosure of personal data can only be done by FOND according to the relevant national/ European legislation currently in force.

Service Providers

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service (“Service Providers”), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service related services or to assist us in analysing and monitoring how our Service is used.

These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

For the Black Sea NGO Forum website, we use Google Analytics as a third-party Service Provider. Google Analytics let us measure our advertising ROI as well as track our Flash, video, and social networking sites and applications. More information about Google Analytics can be found here.
