Following an interactive process organised during the 12th edition of the Black Sea NGO Forum (Istanbul, 2019), the Strategic Framework for Civil Society Cooperation in the Black Sea Region was revised and later on endorsed by participants.
According to the newly revised Strategic Framework, for the period 2019 – 2024 the Black Sea NGO Forum will focus on:
1. Supporting the creation of formal and informal regional thematic NGO networks in the following cooperation areas:
2. Promoting and supporting an enabling environment for civil society in the Black Sea Region, with focus on building the resilience of civil society (at both internal and external level).

The activity of revisioning the Black Sea NGO Forum Startegic Framework is part of the project “Building CSO Capacity for Regional Cooperation within the Black Sea Region” implemented by the Romanian NGDO Platform – FOND and funded by the European Union, which aims at strengthening regional cooperation among civil society organisations (CSOs) capacity to develop regional partnerships, by consoldiating the Forum as a support mechanism.
